2 What personal data do we collect and store?

When you visit our website, your browser automatically sends information to the web server operator. This data is temporarily stored in a so-called log file. The following data may be recorded without any action on your part and stored until it is automatically deleted:

We use cookies on our website. This is done on the basis of Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR. Our legitimate interest is to enable you to use our website smoothly and conveniently.

6. which network connections to third-party services exist?

To ensure convenient use of our website and for the purpose of statistical surveys, we use functions from various third-party providers. In doing so, a connection is sometimes established between the visitor to our website and the respective service provider and data is processed.

We use Google Analytics. This is a web analysis service provided by Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland, hereinafter referred to as "Google". We only use Google Analytics with IP anonymisation. This means that the IP address of the website visitor is truncated and direct personal identification is prevented. The contract for commissioned data processing between us and Google was concluded on 14 May 2018 and can be viewed on request. It stipulates that Analytics user and event data (e.g. user ID) is stored for 26 months before it is automatically deleted.

We also use Google Analytics to analyse data from AdWords and data from the Google advertising functions for purely statistical purposes. We integrate YouTube videos in connection with the "extended data protection mode" function. According to YouTube, this means that your IP address, the date and time and the website you visit are only transmitted to YouTube, recorded and processed when you actually start a video. In addition, no connection to Google's "DoubleClick" advertising network is established.

If you are logged in to YouTube at the same time, YouTube will assign the connection information to your YouTube account. If you wish to prevent this, you must either log out of YouTube before visiting our website or make the appropriate settings in your YouTube user account.
